容狀魁岸風韻韶舉。同玉樹之華滋。類璧山之朗潤。善經略美銓衡。歸心慧門遊情法苑。

His appearance and stature were grand and imposing, and his graceful bearing was noble and refined. Like the luxuriant flourishing of a jade tree, and resembling the bright smoothness of a jade cliff, he was skilled in administration and splendid in personnel selection. Turning his mind toward the gate of wisdom, he gave free rein to his spirit in the garden of the Dharma.
