稟精辰象。資靈河嶽。幼譽擅美。弱冠馳名。信敬之志不移。檀忍之心無竭。寫經造像心未為勞。

He received his essence from the astral bodies, and derived his spirit from the rivers and peaks. His praise in youth monopolized beauty; at twenty years of age his fame spread far. His resolve of faithful reverence never shifted, and his mind of giving (dāna) and patience (kṣānti) was never exhausted. Copying sūtras and making images, his mind never felt weary.
