羽儀文物。冠蓋相望。守一抱真。志存安養。三長之月。必自清齋。二親諱日。達曙悲慘。造彌勒寺。供養百僧。

An exemplar of culture and refined objects, carriages and caps gazed upon him in admiration. Guarding oneness and embracing truth, his aspiration lay in the Land of Peaceful Nurture (Sukhāvatī). In the three long months of fasting, he would without fail observe a pure fast himself. On the death anniversaries of his two parents, he wept with grief until daybreak. He built the Mile Monastery, making offerings to a hundred monks.
