The non-Buddhist treatise says: The responsive traces of sages differ from those of ordinary mortals. Some ride dragons and elephants to abide in the womb; others open the flanks and armpits to appear in the world. Although both are unconnected to the two qi and do not depend on the two parents, as for the distinction between left and right, their difference in superiority and inferiority is the first.
