8.16

當歸命三十六真人（擬佛家三十五佛名）歸命師子吼真人（取師子吼菩薩名）歸命寶勝真人（取寶勝佛名）各各互跪合掌。如法懺悔。三三合為一（改三三合九種）今身若先身。有罪盡懺悔（與佛家同）。

'We should take refuge in the thirty-six true persons' (modeled on the Buddhist names of the thirty-five Buddhas); 'take refuge in the Lion's Roar True Person' (taken from the name of Lion's Roar Bodhisattva); 'take refuge in the Precious Victory True Person' (taken from the name of Ratnaketu Buddha); 'each kneeling alternately and pressing the palms together, repenting in accordance with the Dharma; three threes unite into one' (altering the three threes into nine kinds); 'whether in this life or previous lives, repent all sins entirely' (identical to the Buddhists).
