8.27

是時元始天尊。成就五方國土。度一切人君子曰。若天尊出世度一切人者。必應動地放光天人雲集。何為書策不載今古莫傳。九州之中無一見者。其為詐妄皆此類焉。

'At that time, the Heavenly Worthy of Primordial Beginning brought to completion the lands of the five directions, delivering all people.' The Noble Person says: If the Heavenly Worthy appeared in the world and delivered all people, the earth would certainly have shaken, light would have been emitted, and devas and humans would have gathered like clouds. Why is it not recorded in books, and transmitted neither in ancient nor modern times? Among the nine provinces, not a single person saw it! Their fraudulent deceptions are all of this sort.
