太玄是都。東華是宮（四見論云。三界之外次四民天。所謂東華南離西靈北真。行仁者生東華宮。行禮者生南離宮。行義者生西靈宮。行信者生北真宮言三界之內大劫交時。有四行者。堪為種民。王母迎之登上四天。為下民種也）。

The Grand Mystery (Taixuan) is a metropolis (du); Eastern Florescence (Donghua) is a palace (gong). (The Sijian lun states: Outside the three realms are the heavens of the four peoples: namely, Eastern Florescence, Southern Departure, Western Spirit, and Northern Truth. Those who practice benevolence are born in the Eastern Florescence Palace; those who practice propriety are born in the Southern Departure Palace; those who practice righteousness are born in the Western Spirit Palace; those who practice trustworthiness are born in the Northern Truth Palace. It is said that within the three realms, when the great kalpa undergoes transition, there are practitioners of these four conducts who are qualified to be the seed-people. The Queen Mother welcomes them to ascend to the four upper heavens to serve as seeds for the people below.)
