右某。今者伏蒙知府端明侍郎台命。俾就淨慧禪院住持。祗荷恩輝豈任感愧。以今月初五日。已起離潤州參見在即。謹具狀申聞。

The above-named [Qisong] states: Now I have humbly received the exalted command of the Prefect, Academician of the Duanming Hall and Vice Minister, directing me to proceed to Jinghui Chan Cloister to assume the abbotship. Reverently bearing this gracious favor, how could I bear my feelings of gratitude and shame? On the fifth day of this month, I have already set out from Runzhou; meeting with you is imminent. I respectfully prepare this memorial to report.
