某啟。此者伏審知府龍圖罷鎮名藩。即日趨詔歸闕行舟首路。某山林逋病不能遠郊馳送。徒增黯戀。仁德慺慺奉此咨露。伏惟台慈念察。

I state: Recently I learned with respect that you, Prefect and Academician of the Dragon Diagram, have relinquished control of this famous region, and on this day are hastening to obey the imperial summons and return to the palace, setting your boat upon the road. Being an escapee in the mountain forests and sick, I cannot hasten to the distant outskirts to see you off; this only adds to my melancholic longing. With sincere gratitude for your benevolence and virtue, I present this disclosure. I humbly hope for the compassionate consideration of your Excellency.
