某咨。昔日伏蒙特墜清雅素賁旅寄不任感荷。容宿恙稍痊。當走左右以承盛刺。謹具狀上納。伏惟垂察。不宣。

I report: Previously I was honored by your graceful favor, which ordinarily adorns my lodgings; I am endlessly grateful. When my lingering illness is somewhat cured, I shall hasten before you to receive your splendid calling card. I respectfully prepare this letter to submit it. I humbly hope that you will deign to examine it. [Respectfully,] no further.
