與君游兮。我心日休。與君別兮。我心日憂。君之去兮。春水湯湯。青霄九重兮。雲闕蒼茫。氣望豪華兮。接翼翱翔。懷德孤進兮。人誰與揚。米貴如玉兮。薪若桂枝。京國九留兮。曷為所資。江南五月兮。瑤草籬籬。早歸來兮慰此相思。

Roamin' with you, / My heart found daily peace. / Partin' with you, / My heart fills with daily sorrow. / As you depart, / The spring waters surge and flow. / The blue skies rise through nine tiers, / The clouded palace gates are vast and dim. / In their bearing they seek splendor, / Soaring along with joined wings. / You, harboring virtue, advance alone; / Who is there to extol you? / Rice is as precious as jade, / Firewood like cassia branches. / Lingerin' long in the capital, / What will you rely on for support? / In the Jiangnan region during the fifth month, / The wondrous grasses grow dense and lush. / Return early, / To comfort this longing of mine!
