若人之來兮。賢俊將迎。若人之歸兮。勝事告成。春色佳兮春風輕。擥雲袖兮趨遙征。台山凌虛兮。氣象淑清。宜真賞適兮。休顧浮名。彼循利忘道兮。流俗時情。既亡吾徒兮。何足與評。

When this person comes, / The worthy and talented come forth to welcome him. / When this person returns, / His supreme endeavors are accomplished. / The spring scenery is lovely, the spring breeze is gentle; / Shaking his cloudy sleeves, he hastens on his distant journey. / Mount Tiantai ascends into the void, / Its atmosphere pure and fair. / Fitting it is to enjoy genuine delight, / Ceasing to look back upon fleeting fame. / Those who chase profit and forget the Way / Follow only the vulgar sentiments of the time. / Since they are no longer members of our flock, / How are they worthy of discussion?
