南風掠波溪水滿。山中幽人來洗浣。獨立溪傍清興欵。更愛泉流芳草短。平生幽討貴蕭散。世道紛紜何足算。人間五月夏雲煩。相約歸來君莫緩。

The south wind brushes the waves, the stream water is full; / The recluse in the mountain comes to wash and rinse. / Standing alone beside the stream, pure delight is sincere; / Even more I love the spring flowing and the fragrant grasses short. / All my life seeking seclusion, I have valued casual detachment; / The entangled ways of the world—how are they worth reckoning? / In the human world, fifth-month summer clouds are oppressive; / We agreed to return together—do not be tardy!
