君莫笑支許。寂寞非愚懵。君莫輕稽阮。山林有清興。人生徒百歲。樂少憂還剩。萬事漫短長。無如使道勝。爾非傲世士。高蹈釣名稱。但謝區中緣。甘心棲石磴。澄空白日飛。世事終無應。不如省爾誠。自言還自贈。

Do not laugh at Zhi and Xu; / Their loneliness was not ignorance or stupidity. / Do not make light of Ji and Ruan; / The mountains and forests have pure delights. / Human life lasts in vain a hundred years; / Joy is little, while sorrow still abounds. / The myriad affairs run long or short without aim; / Nothing compares to letting the Way prevail. / You are not a scholar who scorns the world, / Treading high to fish for reputation. / Merely bid farewell to worldly bonds, / Content in heart to roost on stone steps. / In the clear sky the white sun flies; / Worldly affairs in the end have no response. / Better to examine your own sincerity, / Speaking to yourself and presenting it back to yourself.
