仙人白玉京。去去何縹緲。瓊樓十二層。玲瓏汎雲表。銀湟月為波。萬頃即池沼。秋來宮殿光。逗落人間曉。空際時澄明。烟霞眇青鳥。可見不可到。所思空杳杳。

The immortals' White Jade Capital— / Far away, how ethereal it is! / Jasper pavilions of twelve stories, / Exquisite, floating above the clouds. / The Silver River has the moon for its waves; / Ten thousand acres form its ponds. / When autumn arrives, the palace halls gleam, / Spilling dawn down into the human realm. / The empty void is clear and bright at times; / Through mists and rosy clouds, the blue bird is distant. / It can be seen, but cannot be reached; / What I yearn for is completely remote and lost.
