微風靜林杪。紅日下嵒阿。明月出已滿。白雲歸未多。高應伴猿鶴。深不暗松蘿。若弗為霖去。其如旱歲何。

A faint breeze calms the treetops; / The red sun sinks down the cliff's bend. / The bright moon emerges, already full; / White clouds return, not yet dense. / In height, they must companion gibbons and cranes; / In depth, they do not darken the pines and trailing lichen. / If they do not set forth to become soaking rains, / What can be done for this year of drought?
