山庭晚來靜。林石自巉嵒。犬去吠人語。花飛恣鳥䘖。晴烟熏茂草。煦日靄高杉。更喜團圓月。清光下碧巖。

The mountain courtyard grows quiet in the evening; / Woods and rocks stand craggy and steep. / A dog runs off, barking at human voices; / Blossoms drift, caught freely in birds' beaks. / Clear mists scent the luxuriant grasses; / The warm sun softens over tall firs. / Yet happier is the full and rounded moon; / Pure light descends onto the jade-green cliffs.
