北郭送陽子。日斜歸舊居。路泥侵曉潤。晦月逼春餘。桑柘雨中綠。人烟關外疎。依然見風俗。歸興混樵漁。

At the northern suburb I see off Master Yang; / As the sun slants, I return to my old dwelling. / Road mud is soaked by the morning moisture; / The dark moon presses upon the close of spring. / Mulberry and cudrania are green in the rain; / Human chimneys are sparse outside the pass. / Just as before, local customs appear; / My impulse to return mingles with woodcutters and fishermen.
