高吟遠矚倚雲梯。往事經心盡可題。道德二篇徒自辯。是非一馬豈能齊。暉山真玉傷驚火。失水靈蛇畏在泥。寄語冥鴻上天去。凌雲羽翼莫思低。

Chanting aloud and gazing far, leaning on the cloud ladder; / Past affairs that cross the mind can all be written of. / The two chapters on Dao and De: in vain one argues them; / Right and wrong: how could a single horse make them equal? / The true jade of Mount Hui suffers injury from fire; / The spiritual snake that lost its water dreads the mud. / I send word to the wild goose soaring into the distant sky: / With wings that rise above the clouds, do not think of flying low.
