暗裏春催曙色明。百雞迎曉報新聲。宿寒尚在龍蛇蟄。藏曆初傳日月迎。萱葉四時今始發。梅花一旦占先榮。山家也祝堯天壽。漫學牛山報太平。

In the dark, spring hastens forward as dawn's colors brighten; / A hundred roosters greet the dawn, heralding new calls. / Lingering cold still remains, dragons and snakes lie dormant; / The hidden calendar is newly proclaimed, greeting sun and moon. / Daylily leaves for all four seasons now first sprout; / Plum blossoms on this single morning claim pride of early bloom. / Mountain dwellers also pray for long life under Yao's heavens, / Casually emulating Mount Niu to announce universal peace.
