忽憶山中人白頭。歲闌來看雪初收。詩篇見賞皆高興。謝客相隨匪俗流。漫有嵓雲供夜臥。況無土食備晨羞。愛君吟詠殊堪聽。金玉聲音勝楚囚。

Suddenly recalling the white-haired elder in the mountains; / At year's close coming to visit, as snow begins to gather. / The poems shown and appreciated are all of lofty spirit; / Accompanying Xie Lingyun, you are no vulgar companion. / In vain cliff clouds offer a night's repose; / Furthermore, no local dishes prepared for the morning meal. / Loving your recitations, they are truly worth hearing; / Resonance of gold and jade, far surpassing the prisoner of Chu.
