乘興溪邊去。仍從林下歸。梅香帶春信。日色煖人衣。白髮思還遠。清流遇更稀。野禽寧會意。相顧向柴扉。

Riding inspiration, I set off along the creek; / still returning beneath the forest. / Plum fragrance carries tidings of spring; / the sunlight warms one's clothes. / With white hair, my thoughts roam far; / finding pure streams becomes even rarer. / How could the wild birds understand my intent? / Turning to look at each other, they face the brushwood gate.
