千年支許事如新。欲寄前遊漫歷旬。雨帶黑雲遮俗客。猿呼飛鳥伴幽人。從容劇論知何日。感激佳篇慰此辰。四海聲光非鑿齒。道安名重若為親。

For a thousand years, the matter of Zhi and Xu has been like new; / wishing to send word of past travels, ten days have casually passed. / Rain carrying black clouds shields off vulgar guests; / gibbons calling to flying birds keep company with the recluse. / At leisure in profound discourse, who knows on what day? / Stirred with gratitude by your fine verses, it comforts this season. / The renown throughout the four seas is not just that of Zaochi; / Dao'an's reputation is heavy—how could one become close to him?
