道安獨繼襄陽踵。詩好慵窺霅晝評。竹屋數間經幾載。草衣三事傲平生。縱陪林下收孤迹。難學人間走大名。燈火已殘談未倦。曉風斜雨打窓聲。

Dao'an alone followed in the footsteps of Xiangyang; / fond of poetry, he was disinclined to peek at the appraisals of Zhaozhou. / A few bays of a bamboo hut have lasted several years; / the three robes of coarse grass are his lifelong pride. / Though accompanying you in the forest to conceal my solitary trace, / it is hard to emulate the mortal world chasing great fame. / The lamp has burned low but conversation is untiring; / dawn wind and slanting rain beat the sound against the window.
