曉過翻經臺下寺。與君同謁祖師堂。庭前紫桂葉頻脫。石上紅梅花正香。出洞陰雲分遠影。挂松寒日漏清光。謝君勸飯須無讓。不許非時薦茗湯。

At dawn passing the monastery below the Sutra Translation Terrace, / Together with you I pay respects at the Ancestral Master's hall. / Before the courtyard purple osmanthus leaves repeatedly fall; / Upon the rocks red plum blossoms are just turning fragrant. / Emerging from the grotto, dark clouds divide their distant shades; / Hanging in the pines, the cold sun filters pure brilliance. / I thank you for urging me to eat without holding back; / Not permitting tea or soup to be served out of season.
