歲晏林間宿。初聞況夜晴。漱寒醒客夢。飛響應山鳴。深㵎松風靜。幽人石室清。誰人能為我。寫此入琴聲。

Lodging in the woods at year's end, / Hearing it for the first time on a clear night. / Rinsing coldness wakes the traveler's dream; / Flying reverberations echo the mountain's cry. / In the deep ravine the pine breeze is stilled; / In the stone chamber the recluse is serene. / Who can for my sake / Transcribe this into the music of the zither?
