淨思六年。遂成佛果（正宗記云。先於彌樓山。習不用處定。次於欝頭弗處。習非非想處定。又於象鼻山。覩明星面悟道。六年淨思方成佛果矣）。

For six years of pure reflection, he then attained the fruit of buddhahood. (The Zhengzong ji states: 'First at Mount Meru he practiced the absorption of nothingness; next with Udraka Rāmaputra he practiced the absorption of neither-perception-nor-non-perception; then at Mount Gajāsīrṣa he beheld the morning star and awakened to the Way. After six years of pure reflection, he finally attained the fruit of buddhahood.')
