臣叔比干竭忠而諫。遂剖腹而死（比干紂叔父也。以直言諫紂。紂曰。吾聞聖人心有七竅乃剖腹觀心而死）。

His minister and uncle Bi Gan exhausted his loyalty in remonstrance, and was subsequently executed by having his belly ripped open (Bi Gan was Zhou's paternal uncle; he remonstrated with Zhou with straightforward words; Zhou said: 'I have heard that a sage's heart has seven apertures,' whereupon he ripped open his belly to inspect his heart, and Bi Gan died).
