語云。致遠恐泥（論語。子夏謂泥者不通也。大道愈遠而通小道致遠而塞泥也）。

A saying states: 'Pursuing it far, one fears being impeded' (Analects: Zixia said that 'impeded' means not getting through; the Great Way penetrates the farther it goes, whereas minor ways become blocked and impeded when pursued far).
