Therefore the sages are urgent regarding what is great, and relax regarding what is small; they give precedence to what is weighty, and put last what is light. (Being urgent regarding what is great refers to the clear mirror and purity. Relaxing regarding what is small refers to loving attachment, passions, and desires. Giving precedence to what is weighty refers to life; hence they consider life as heavy as Mount Tai. Putting last what is light refers to wife and wealth; hence they consider wife and wealth as light as autumn down.)
