仲尼伯陽。審無受器。知而不傳（仲尼夫子也。伯陽老子也。孔老二聖審無受道之器而無可傳者。故知而不傳也）。

Zhongni and Boyang examined that there were no vessels capable of receiving it, knowing it yet not transmitting it. (Zhongni was the Master; Boyang was Laozi. The two sages Confucius and Laozi clearly examined that there were no vessels capable of receiving the Way and thus none to transmit it to; hence, though knowing it, they did not transmit it.)
