且佛經以三千大千世界。為一化佛所王之寰宇也（王去聲。若君臨天下曰王。經云。三千小千世界為中千世界。三千中千世界為一大千世界。如三千大千世界。為一化佛所掌寰區之宇也）。

Furthermore, Buddhist sūtras take a trichiliocosm as the universe ruled by a single transformation Buddha. ('Ruled' is in the departing tone; when a lord presides over the world, it is called ruling. A sūtra says: 'Three thousand small chiliocosms make a medium chiliocosm; three thousand medium chiliocosms make a great trichiliocosm.' Thus a trichiliocosm is the realm governed by a single transformation Buddha.)
