In antiquity, Zhao Dun gave food to Ling Zhe, and in the end received the repayment of his chariot wheel being supported (Records of the Grand Historian: Zhao Dun was a minister of Jin; once while traveling among the mulberry trees, he saw a starving man and gave him food; Dun was fond of direct remonstrance; one day the ruler of Jin set a ferocious dog to bite him, and also detached a wheel from Dun's chariot in advance, removing two of the four horses; when Dun mounted the chariot and could not move, suddenly a man supported the wheel and ran, so that he escaped danger; he then asked, 'Who is the one supporting the wheel?' The man answered, 'I am the starving man from among the mulberry trees, repaying the kindness of a single meal').
