非章甫冠冕之所致也。老子云。失道而後德（道自然也。德猶得也。道衰以德化之。故失道而後德）。

not in what ceremonial caps and crowns bring about. Laozi said, 'When the Way is lost, virtue appears; (The Way is spontaneity. Virtue is like attainment. When the Way declines, one transforms through virtue; therefore it is said, 'When the Way is lost, virtue appears.')
