宗祀文王於明堂。以配上帝（文王周公父也。明堂天子布政之宮。周公因祭上帝於明堂。乃尊父以配享之。此宗廟文王嚴父。以配上帝也）。

The Bright Hall was the palace where the Son of Heaven promulgated government.
