客曰。子之言佛。其道大矣。敢問漢夢以前。還有知之者乎（漢明帝夢見金人飛入殿庭前。此曾有知西方有佛者也）。

The guest said, 'Your talk of the Buddha—his Way is great indeed! Dare I ask, before Emperor Ming of the Han's dream, was there anyone who knew of him?' (Before Emperor Ming of the Han dreamed of the golden man flying into the palace courtyard, had anyone ever known that there was a Buddha in the west?).
