焉能達聖人起盡之事也歟。然以所知敢告吾子。佛昔居覩史多天（梵語覩史多。亦名兜率陀天。此云知足）。

'How could I penetrate the sages' affairs of beginning and end? However, with what I know, I venture to tell you, sir. Formerly, the Buddha dwelt in Tuṣita Heaven. (The Sanskrit is Tuṣita, also called Tuṣita Heaven; here translated as 'contentment'.)
