5.27

以周穆王壬申五十二年二月十五日入般涅槃。其道本乎明析色心（析分也。佛說三乘教法。其道本欲分明色心二法即真俗二諦也）。

'On the fifteenth day of the second month in the fifty-second year, renshen, of King Mu of Zhou, he entered parinirvāṇa. His Way was rooted in clearly analyzing form and mind. (Xi means to divide. In the Buddha's teaching of the three vehicles, his Way was fundamentally meant to distinguish the two phenomena of form and mind, which are the two truths, ultimate and conventional.)
