Miaoming said, 'Speaking in terms of holy wisdom, the great ordinary person does not equal the lesser holy being (As for holy wisdom, the lesser holy beings of the two vehicles are adeptly endowed with supernormal transformations and are freely unhindered. Because of indulging in this, they cannot practice in the Mahāyāna. Great-hearted ordinary beings, lacking supernormal powers, do not equal the lesser holy beings).
