From antiquity, of the worthy and wise, who has not hidden his traces in Buddhist scriptures and settled his mind in the ancestral Way? Could it be that I alone am fond of the heterodox? (From antiquity to the present, among the worthy, capable, sages, and wise, there are none who have not hidden their tracks in the Buddha's scriptures and secretly lodged their minds in the ancestral Way. How could it be that nowadays I alone am fond of heterodoxy?)
