沙門玄奘言。奉昨一日恩勅。許玄奘并弟子移住玉華。翻經僧等隨往翻譯。依舊供給。喜荷兼極。踴躍參并。玄奘庸流末品。屢叨聖眷。至仁曲逮。殊澤再加。優其事業。居之顯隩。撫心增愧。荷施逾深。一介徵生。萬殞寧答。不勝感戴之極。謹詣闕陳謝以聞。謹言。

The śramaṇa Xuanzang says: Yesterday I received the gracious decree permitting Xuanzang and his disciples to move and reside at Yuhua, with the monks translating scriptures and others accompanying us to carry out translation, with provisions provided as before. My joy and gratitude are both boundless, and I leap with delight. Xuanzang is of the lowest and most ordinary class, yet has repeatedly enjoyed the imperial favor. Ultimate benevolence has condescended to reach me, and extraordinary bounty has been bestowed again, honoring my work and providing me a celebrated retreat. Looking into my heart, I feel only increased shame; bearing Your gifts, my debt grows ever deeper. For a single humble life, how could ten thousand deaths repay it? Unable to overcome my extreme gratitude, I have reverently come to the palace to offer this memorial of thanks. Respectfully stated.
