師現身西方。開法中國。在昔弘誓。朕心悉知。經行恒沙。致大福力。自頃跋涉。常念因緣。而今比丘問道申願。今蓮花至淨貝葉重宣微妙佛陀不思議也。崇無罣礙是錫末香。奉持精修常不退轉。所謝知。

"The Master manifested his presence in the Western Regions and opened the Dharma in the Central Kingdom. Regarding your former vows, Our mind is fully aware. Walking across as many lands as the sands of the Ganges, you have brought about great meritorious power. In your travels since recent times, you have constantly kept karmic conditions in mind. Now the bhikṣu inquires into the Way and states his vows; today the lotus is most pure, and the palm leaves are proclaimed anew: the subtle and wondrous Buddha is unfathomable! To honor freedom from hindrances, We hereby bestow powdered incense. Uphold and cultivate it with diligence, always without regression. What you have thanked is noted."
