3.124

沙門不空言。頃以去年終冬罷雪。今春正盡。猶自愆陽。比屋熬然　皇情憂軫。為人引咎。精思祈天。果得應時。春澤普洽。川原滂霈。草木滋華。是知聖德動天。神應如響。一人有感。萬類照蘇。不勝忻悅之至。謹因中使李憲誠奉表陳賀以聞。沙門不空誠歡誠荷謹言。

The śramaṇa Amoghavajra states: Recently, as the snowfall ceased at the end of last winter, and this spring the first month was already ending, the yang [influence] remained amiss. Every household was scorched and distressed, and the Imperial heart was filled with grief and care. Taking the blame upon himself for the people, with refined contemplation he prayed to Heaven. Indeed, answering at the proper time, spring moisture spread everywhere; the rivers and plains were drenched with downpours, and the grasses and trees flourished. Thus we know that the sagely virtue moves Heaven, and divine response is like an echo. When the One Man feels resonance, the myriad kinds [of beings] are revived. I cannot bear the height of my joy and delight. Respectfully, through the Palace Envoy Li Xiancheng, I present this memorial offering congratulations to be heard. The śramaṇa Amoghavajra, with genuine joy and genuine gratitude, respectfully speaks.
