自冬少雪。慮切農郊。分命群官。偏祈岳瀆。而宗社貺祐。靈祇願懷。雲馳早春。雨洽中野。和上念深家國。虔請道場。豐和有期。慰悅斯在。所賀知。

"Since there was little snow in winter, our concern was pressing for the agricultural fields. We divided commands among the officials to pray everywhere at the sacred peaks and major rivers. Then the Imperial Ancestral Shrine and Altars of Soil and Grain bestowed their blessing and protection, and the spiritual deities were conciliated. Clouds hastened in early spring, and rain soaked the central fields. The Upādhyāya holds deep thoughts for the family and the state, and devoutly prayed at the arena. Abundance and harmony have their appointed time, and comfort and delight reside herein. What is congratulated has been noted."
