沙門不空言。伏承瓊華真人薨逝。上軫　聖慈。傍悲行路。不空拙自將理伏枕多時。聖恩不以不空凡僧。遣養真人為女。痛切之至實倍常情。真人乖攝之時。不空身正因惙。不獲力疾就內加持。昨二十七日扶策欲請對。行至子城東南角已承真人凶諱。中路却迴。追感平生。無由取訣。哀情莫展。痛迫實深。望伏聖慈許不空來月二日扶力就真人喪次。轉念獲申情禮。實為悲幸。每虔誠發願。上向諸佛。庶憑法力。保護亡靈。伏惟　聖心俯垂昭鑒。不空稍侯痊減即冀扶持奉慰。謹奉表以聞。沙門不空誠悲誠慟謹言。

The śramaṇa Amoghavajra states: I have humbly learned of the passing of the Realized Person Qionghua. Above, it brings sorrow to the Sagely Benevolence; below, it causes passersby to weep. Unskilled in caring for my health, I have remained bedridden for a long time. Yet the Sagely Grace did not dismiss me as an ordinary monk, but sent the Realized Person to be adopted as my daughter. My heart-rending grief indeed doubles ordinary feelings. When the Realized Person's health failed, my body was precisely afflicted with exhaustion; I was unable to force myself despite illness to enter the Inner Palace for empowerment. Yesterday, on the twenty-seventh day, supporting myself with a cane, I wished to request an audience. Arriving at the southeast corner of the Imperial City, I had already received the sorrowful news of the Realized Person's passing. Returning halfway, I reflect upon her lifetime, having had no chance to bid farewell. My mournful feelings cannot be expressed, and my painful distress is exceedingly deep. I humbly hope the Sagely Benevolence will permit me on the second day of next month to drag myself to the funeral hall of the Realized Person, to recite mantras and be able to express my sentiments and rites; this would truly be a sorrowful solace. Constantly making vows with sincere piety directed to the Buddhas above, I hope to rely on the power of the Dharma to protect the deceased spirit. I humbly prostrate, hoping the Sagely Mind will deign to look down with clear inspection. As soon as I am somewhat recovered, I hope to support myself to offer condolences. Respectfully I present this memorial to be heard. The śramaṇa Amoghavajra, with genuine sorrow and genuine grief, respectfully speaks.
