聖慈擇一賢臣軄司功德。永國家惟新之福。解僧人懷舊之悲。謹附監使李憲誠奉表陳謝以聞。不勝戰灼之至。沙門惠朗誠惶誠恐謹言。

that Your Sagely Compassion select a worthy minister to take charge of the office of merit and virtue, perpetuating the state's ever-new blessings and relieving the monks' sorrow of longing for the past. Reverently appending this to Palace Attendant Li Xiancheng, I present this memorial to express our feelings and submit it for your hearing.
