京城釋門眾大興善寺上座沙門惠朗等言。伏奉今月六日　聖旨。度韓國大王長女。鴻恩放　天孫出家祐資　皇后踵繼愛道寵光釋氏。伏惟　陛下至聖之心。利物弘廣。雖乾坤之大疇能況焉。去蟬鬢之鳳敘剃除雲髮。脫寶衣之瓔珞被服袈裟。三界人天皆霑福澤。天下緇門不勝戴賀。謹附中使魏行琳奉表以聞。沙門惠朗等誠歡誠喜謹言。

The saṅgha of the capital, represented by the Sthavira śramaṇa Huilang and others of Daxingshan Temple, state: We respectfully received the sacred decree of the sixth day of this month ordaining the eldest daughter of the Great Prince of Han. In great grace, you released an imperial granddaughter to leave the household life to assist and support the Empress, continuing the legacy of Mahāprajāpatī and glorifying the Śākya clan. We humbly reflect that Your Majesty's supremely sagacious heart benefits beings on a vast scale; even the greatness of heaven and earth, how could it compare? She removes the phoenix hairpin from cicada-like temples to shave off her cloud-like hair; she takes off the pearl garlands of precious robes to don the kāṣāya. The humans and devas of the three realms are all bathed in this blessed favor, and the black-robed sangha under heaven cannot bear their veneration and joy. We respectfully submit this memorial via the palace commissioner Wei Xinglin to bring it to your hearing. The śramaṇa Huilang and others state this with sincere joy and delight.
