寶應元聖文武皇帝答曰。師夙勤梵行。先踐法流。福惠所資。生靈蒙賴。爰賜命服。煩此謝恩。
The Baoying Yuansheng Wenwu Emperor replied: "The Master has long been diligent in pure conduct and early stepped into the Dharma stream. Blessings and wisdom provide aid, and sentient beings rely upon them. Thus We bestowed the robe of distinction; why trouble yourself with this gratitude?"
