6.31

大哉正覺　神力難思　夢感明帝
騰蘭降輝　群邪捨執　稽首歸依
秦殿鏡寶　瓶顯降疑　傅弈辭誚
辨正摧之　沙門崇惠　止毀排非
水火刃毒　對驗希奇
善哉一期之盛事　將來千載而不移

Great is the Fully Enlightened One, / His spiritual power is hard to fathom.
An auspicious dream moved Emperor Ming; / Kāśyapa Mātanga and Dharmaratna shed their radiance.
The flock of heterodox gave up their stubborn views, / Bowing their heads in refuge.
In the Qin palace was the precious mirror, / Manifested in the vase to dispel doubt.
Fu Yi spoke in mocking slander; / Defending the Right crushed it.
The śramaṇa Chonghui / Put an end to defamation and drove out wrongdoing.
Water, fire, blades, and poisons— / Facing the test, how marvelous!
How excellent, this grand event of a single lifetime, / Which will endure unchanged for a thousand ages to come!
