梵身天宮。宮純黃金。身白銀色（色界皆爾）衣金色衣。行禪離欲修習火光三昧。故身出妙光勝於日月。非男非女。以禪悅為食。壽命一劫或有減者。身長半由旬。壽半劫（出長阿含經第二十卷）。

The palace of the Brahmakāyika heaven. The palace is pure gold, and their bodies are the color of white silver (this is so for all the rūpadhātu). They wear golden garments. They practice dhyāna, abandon desire, and cultivate the fire-radiance samādhi; therefore, wonderful light emanates from their bodies, surpassing the sun and moon. They are neither male nor female. They take the joy of dhyāna as their food. Their lifespan is one kalpa, though some live less. Their bodies are half a yojana tall, and their lifespan is half a kalpa (from the twentieth fascicle of the Dīrgha Āgama).
